I saw a church theme recently that spoke to my heart: What will you do in 2022?”  that’s a question we all need to ask ourselves. Read More…Download…Print

Ministry Update Fall of 2021

Dear Pastors, Supporters and Friends of Tim And Kelly Urling,

We hope all is well with you. I wanted to inform you that the Lord has led me to a change in our ministry. Not in the work we are doing but with a focus now on both sides of the Border. We are transitioning the focus of our ministry to the northside of the US/Mexico border.

El Paso, Texas and Cd Juarez Mexico Largest border city metroplex in North America

The Lord has led me to help Brother Carl Chitwood and the Westside Baptist Temple in El Paso, TX with soul-winning, discipleship, a Spanish class, while still being available to help the established churches in Juarez as we can. As you know, the need is great no matter which side of the border one ministers on. 66.6% of El Paso is Spanish speaking!

Pastor Chitwood has faithfully served God for 43 years and has done a tremendous job establishing the Westside Baptist Temple. Please pray for him, he was recently that he is suffering from renal problems and his doctor is recommending dialysis. He will continue as Pastor and we will be helping in anyway we can to lighten the load. We will maintain our focus on outreach and discipleship. Effectively being missionaries in the El Paso / Juarez Borderplex of nearly 3 million souls.

We’ve helped many churches during the border restrictions that are in place by both countries especially in the area of soul-winning among Spanish speakers. We’ve helped almost every weekly at Westside in some capacity, and are still supplying different pulpits as the need arises. We plan to preach in, and help the churches in Juarez as soon as we are allowed to again.

If you are currently supporting us financially, I am asking if you would prayerfully consider continuing your support, as we are NOT on staff at WSBT at this time and would still like to help the churches we’ve established in Mexico, financially and in any other way possible when the restrictions on the border ease. (Nov. 8, 2021 has been announced as a re-opening date for non-essential travel)

Please READ THIS this letter from me, and this letter from my Pastor Allen Copeland. for more information.

We love each of you and are so appreciative of your support both your prayers and financially, without which, we would not have been able to see so many saved and 9 churches established south of the border.

For Souls – wherever they be! Brother Tim

July / August 2021 Prayer Letter

“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the LORD”
Psalm 27:14

Dear Pastors, Supporters, and Ministry Friends,

We hope that God is blessing you wherever it is that you are serving him. I sure wish that I had some different news to report to you regarding the border situation, but we are still waiting on the authorities to relax the border restrictions. Each month they tell us on the 21st of next month, and when the day arrives, they extend the restriction until the 21st of the next month. Our frustration is … read more/ download

May | June 2021 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastors, Supporters, and Ministry Friends,

Greetings once again from the El Paso / Juarez border.  Although COVID restrictions on the U.S. side of the border have relaxed considerably, they remain in place on the Mexican side.  The restrictions on the bridge prohibiting non-essential travel remain in place so we are still waiting to be able to resume all our activities in Juarez.  Hopefully on June 21st.

2nd Timothy 2:2 (above) has been a … Read more or Download
